Our team is looking for a Horticulture and/or Building & Construction Trainer to empower our learners with the confidence, skills and motivation to take their next step toward employment.

What you’ll do
As a Sessional Trainer in our team, you’ll engage with a diverse cohort and deliver industry specific, job ready programs across areas such as:
- Horticulture - practical skills for entry-level horticulture roles
- Construction & Building- Construction sector essentials and workplace safety.
These courses give learners the chance to take a small step toward big opportunities - building confidence and hands-on skills to become job-ready and achieve meaningful change through employment.
What you’ll bring
- You’re a qualified Trainer (TAE40116 or equivalent.)
- Industry experience in Horticulture, or a building & construction trade.
- A collaborative approach with great people skills, organisation and initiative.
- A positive, can-do attitude with an ability to engage diverse clients with various backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Good tech skills and an ability able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently. Familiarity with Canva would great.
Additional Requirements for our Trainers
- Training is delivered at various locations across New South Wales, requiring some travel. You’ll need your own car to transport equipment.
- Trainers must be able to lift up to 20kgs as part of transporting and setting up equipment.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
