Sessional Trainer - Mental Health (CHC43315)
Pay Range: genU Training Enterprise Agreement – Start $58.00 ph + Super
Not-for-Profit: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 per annum
Location: Perth WA, with local travel

Are you passionate about empowering the next generation of mental health workers? Do you bring real-world experience and a desire to make a lasting impact? genU Training is looking for an inspiring Trainer & Assessor to deliver the Certificate IV in Mental Health (CHC43315).
In this role, you’ll:
- Deliver engaging training sessions (online, in-person, or blended)
- Support and mentor learners from diverse backgrounds
- Facilitate workplace placements and assess competency
- Champion recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practice
- Evaluate learner competencies to ensure skill development and knowledge retention.
- Contribute to ASQA compliance and continuous improvement processes.
- Positively contribute to the genU Training team and organizational goals.
- Deliver high quality services to existing and potential clients
- Be responsible for accurate and timely completion of all documents/reporting to a high standard in terms of quality and compliance
- Make a positive contribution to the training team
- Deliver training to participants in both classroom, workplace and e-learning environments
What you'll bring:
- A relevant qualification (e.g. Cert IV or higher in Mental Health)
- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
- Industry experience and a genuine passion for education
- Strong communication skills and cultural awareness
- A current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain one.
