We are looking for a passionate Sessional Trainer with a background in employment services to deliver Adult and Community Further Education (ACFE) pre-accredited training programs. These programs help adult learners build core skills for study, work and life.   

genU Training delivers job-ready, nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses. We empower people through education—particularly those living with disability, long-term unemployed, or experiencing vulnerability in the community.    

What you’ll do  

As a Sessional Trainer, you will guide learners in building essential skills for study, work, and daily life. In this role, you will: 

• Deliver pre-accredited training to support learners in developing confidence, digital literacy, foundational life skills, and soft skills 
• Support learners from diverse backgrounds, including those entering or reentering the workforce 
• Share real-world insights from your experience to make learning engaging, relevant and practical 
• Collaborate with our training teams to continuously enhance course delivery and the learner experience 

What you’ll bring  

• Proven experience in the employment services industry 
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a genuine passion for professional development and lifelong learning 
• Confidence delivering engaging face-to-face and online sessions and using digital learning tools 
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) – desirable but not essential; we welcome applicants currently completing it or planning to in the future 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
