genU Training is looking for a purpose-driven and adaptable Sessional Trainer with a background in retail, to open doors through education. As a trainer you'll share your skills, inspire learners and make a real impact across Perth and WA.

What you’ll do

A a Sessional Trainer at genU Training, you will deliver courses give learners the chance to take a small step that leads to big opportunities - helping them become job-ready, grow their confidence and achieve lasting change. In this role particularly, you will:

• Engage with a different cohort each week and deliver short, industry specific, job ready programs. For this one, you will primarily be teaching a Cert II in retail.

• Design and assess training using compliant and creative approaches that make learning stick.

• Collaborate with the genU Training team to share ideas, support each other and keep improving what we do.

What you’ll bring

• You’re a qualified trainer (TAE40116 or equivalent) who loves helping others succeed.
• Recent industry experience in a retail setting. 
• Thoughtful communication with great people skills, organisation and initiative.
• Comfortable with tech and able to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently.

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.
