We’re looking for people who want to share their knowledge and experience with others. If you’ve built up skills in your industry and enjoy helping others learn, this could be the role for you.
As a Sessional Trainer, you’ll engage with a different cohort each week and deliver short, industry specific, job-ready programs across areas such as:
- Digital & Business Skills – computer basics, digital literacy, business support, customer service, retail, and preparing for employment
- Hospitality – bar and gaming service, casual dining, café and casual dining, food production essentials
- Cleaning & Housekeeping – commercial cleaning, health and hygiene, housekeeping, and industry readiness
- Horticulture – practical skills for entry-level horticulture roles
- Construction & Renewable Energy – construction sector essentials, workplace safety, and solar/tech readiness
- Warehousing & Production – warehousing, pick packing, food manufacturing, and process work essentials
Our Training U For Work programs run from 4 to 5 days consecutively and are designed to help jobseekers take their next step.
These courses give learners the chance to take a small step that leads to big opportunities - helping them become job-ready, grow their confidence, and achieve lasting change.
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - essential
- Hands-on industry experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Passion for working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, sharing your skills and helping others succeed
- Strong facilitation and communication skills
- Confidence delivering engaging training (face-to-face and/or online)
What You’ll Need

Current driver’s license and own car to travel to training sites and transport equipment (up to 20 kgs - cafe machines, warehousing gear, training materials, etc.)

Flexibility to travel to different training locations each week; accommodation provided for trips over 90 minutes. Occasional interstate travel may be available.
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
