Hey you!  

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sessional Trainer to join the team! In this particular role, you'll deliver our impactful and hands on Training U For Work courses (TUFW) with the aim of building tangible workplace skills and confidence in your participants.   

At Training U For Work, we deliver valuable, job-ready, and nationally recognised qualifications and vocational short courses! Our courses support learners to develop core skills to build knowledge and confidence to embark on further study and enter the workforce. What you’ll do  

 

As a Sessional Trainer in our Training U For Work team, you will:  

 

  • Plan and deliver short, hands-on training that builds practical skills, workplace readiness, and learner confidence while supporting diverse learners 

  • Manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently 

  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment 

 

You may deliver training in your area of expertise, including: 

 

  • Digital & Business Skills – computer basics, digital literacy, customer service, retail, business support 

  • Hospitality – bar and gaming service, café and casual dining, food production essentials 

  • Cleaning & Housekeeping – commercial cleaning, health and hygiene, housekeeping 

  • Horticulture – entry-level practical horticulture skills 

  • Construction & Renewable Energy – construction sector essentials, workplace safety, solar readiness 

  • Warehousing & Production – warehousing, pick packing, manufacturing and process work

What you’ll bring  

 

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Essential 

  • Recent hands-on industry experience in your area of expertise (relevant qualification(s) desirable) 

  • A collaborative, organised, people-focused approach 

  • Confidence using basic technology for reporting and materials (Canvas experience a bonus) 

  

Additional requirements 

 

  • Current driver’s license and own vehicle to transport equipment, plus the ability to lift up to 20kg 

  • Positive, solutions focused approach when working with people from all backgrounds 

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
