Sessional Trainer
Location: Adelaide, South Australia
Pay Range: genU Training Enterprise Agreement – Start $58.00 ph + Super
Not-for-Profit: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 per annum

Are you an experienced trainer with a passion for delivering high-quality, engaging training? Do you thrive on helping learners develop industry-relevant skills? We have opportunities as a sessional trainer, delivering both short and long courses across facce2face and online in Adelaide and SA.
About the Role:
As an Sessional Trainer, you will deliver courses in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Aged Care & Disability, & First Aid across South Australia. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality training and education to learner
- Evaluate learner competencies to ensure skill development and knowledge retention.
- Contribute to ASQA compliance and continuous improvement processes.
- Positively contribute to the genU Training team and organizational goals.
- Deliver high quality services to existing and potential clients
- Successful and timely completion of all documents/reporting to a high standard in terms of quality and compliance
- Have a positive contribution to the training team
- Deliver training to participants in both classroom, workplace and e-learning environments
What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for education and training.
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability & Ageing) including Medications & First Aid (desirable).
- Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs
- First Aid certification (desirable).
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor), or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with specified units, or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- A current valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain one.
