MatchWorks is looking for a passionate and inspiring leader to join our South East Melbourne and Peninsula region. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a diverse team of Employment Consultants, Customer Service Officers, Employer Engagement Partners, and Post Placement Support Consultants—empowering them to do their best work every day. You’ll play a key role in building a positive, collaborative team culture while supporting individuals to reach their full potential and make a real impact in the community.
What you’ll do
As a Site Manager in our Workforce Australia team you’ll:
• Empower and engage your team by fostering a culture of excellence, celebrating success, and recognising achievements
• Oversee staff caseloads, ensuring participants are supported in line with Workforce Australia expectations
• Build strong relationships with local community stakeholders to promote the MatchWorks brand and create meaningful opportunities
• Collaborate with service partners including DHS, Assessors, and Training Providers to stay connected and enhance support for participants
• Drive strong performance outcomes aligned with key site objectives
• Support the smooth operation of the site, including budget oversight and general site management
What you’ll bring
• Proven success in delivering employment and training services, with a genuine passion for supporting people facing barriers to employment
• Highly professional with a strong focus on compliance, quality, and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Strong understanding of the employment services landscape, with the ability to implement effective strategies that drive outcomes
• Confident communicator and people leader, with a solid grasp of HR policies and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
