About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Advisor at genU, you’ll be part of a geographically dispersed team that works together to deliver great hiring outcomes across a diverse organisation.
You’ll take the lead on recruitment for your designated portfolio, which may include anything from high-volume, hands-on roles through to specialised corporate positions. No two days are the same — and that’s what keeps it interesting.
While you’ll own your space, you won’t be working alone. We operate as an agile, collaborative team that supports each other and the broader business where needed. Whether it’s jumping in to help during peak periods or sharing candidates across portfolios, we show up for each other to get the job done. Key responsibilities
In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality recruitment outcomes by:
- Managing the full recruitment process, including job briefs, sourcing, screening, interviews, and feedback
- Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and identify the most suitable candidates
- Supporting and coaching leaders on recruitment techniques and confident decision-making
- Developing and maintaining talent pools to meet current and future workforce requirements
- Ensuring all recruitment activity is compliant, well-documented, and aligned with genU’s values and inclusion principles
About you
You are a recruitment professional who brings a practical and people-first approach to your work.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment, with a strong understanding of role requirements and candidate fit
- Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across all levels of an organisation
- A commitment to fair and inclusive hiring practices, with an understanding of how to support equity in selection processes
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Confident technology skills, including experience with recruitment systems and sourcing platforms (SuccessFactors experience is a bonus)

Given the environment we work within, you will also need to meet the following essential requirements:
- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Worker Orientation Module or willingness to obtain
- Hold Proda access or eligible to obtain
- Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence as some site visits are required
