The Talent Sourcing Manager is a key leadership role within genU’s Talent Acquisition team, responsible for driving strategic sourcing initiatives that ensure we attract the right people to support our mission. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to design and implement innovative, forward-thinking sourcing strategies that meet the evolving needs of our diverse organisation. You’ll play a critical role in shaping and maintaining contemporary sourcing practices that not only meet legislative obligations but also foster a strong, inclusive candidate experience. With a focus on talent pooling, proactive engagement, and market intelligence, the Talent Sourcing Manager will lead efforts to build a future-ready workforce and help position genU as an employer of choice

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

As a Talent Sourcing Manager, you will:

 

  • Support the National Manager – Talent Acquisition in developing and executing attraction strategies
  • Collaborate with the TA team, People & Culture, and hiring managers to ensure a seamless candidate experience
  • Coach hiring managers and the TA team on best practice sourcing strategies
  • Assist in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with community groups, schools, and universities
  • Contribute to the development of genU’s employment brand and EVP
  • Support recruitment for senior or complex roles as needed
  • Help develop and implement workforce plans
  • Maintain strong candidate relationships and talent pools
  • Ensure attraction strategies align with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy
  • Analyse recruitment metrics to improve talent attraction and retention
  • Proactively use networks, channels, and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify potential candidates
  • Manage day-to-day TA supplier relationships

 

 

About you

 

We are looking for dynamic and values-led individuals who have:

 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sourcing roles within large, complex organisations
  • Proven success in implementing modern sourcing strategies, including leveraging digital marketing to achieve results
  • Strong collaboration skills to deliver high-quality people services
  • Up-to-date knowledge of recruitment platforms and technologies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and team skills, with flexibility and resilience
  • Committed to exceptional customer service and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of legislative obligations related to talent sourcing strategies

Requirements

 

To be eligible, you must have, or be willing to complete:

 

  • NDIS Screening Workers Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
  • A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience)
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to work, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels
  • A passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and empowering others to thrive
