Are you passionate about creating inclusive workplaces and making a real difference in the lives of people with disability? genU is seeking a dedicated and proactive Team Administrator to support the work of the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator (NDRC) – a vital part of the Australian Government’s JobAccess initiative.

 

JobAccess is the national hub for workplace and employment information for people with disability, employers and service providers. Created by the Australian Government, it brings together the information and resources that can ‘drive disability employment’.

About the Role

 

As a part time Team Administrator, you will play a key role in helping the NDRC team drive sustainable change in disability employment across Australia. This position supports team activities, marketing efforts, event coordination, stakeholder communications and databases – all with the goal of improving accessibility and inclusion in the workplace.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the NDRC team
  • Coordinate team meetings, process documentation, and data entry
  • Assist in marketing and event activities, including webinars and conferences
  • Format and prepare accessible communication materials and reports
  • Maintain stakeholder databases and manage survey responses
  • Support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and suppliers

 

About You

 

Essential:

 

  • Experience coordinating online and in-person events and managing administrative tasks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and a professional approach
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and online collaboration tools
  • Understanding of workplace challenges faced by people with disability
  • Ability to travel interstate as required
  • Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Orientation Module Completion

 

Desirable:

 

  • Experience with platforms like WebEx and MS Teams
  • Accessibility formatting skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to train in Professional Adviser duties
