This role has a strong focus on Occupational Therapy service and will be responsible for driving a positive, high-performing team culture to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care across our broad NDIS services.
At genU, we’re a profit-for-purpose organisation, reinvesting our success back into programs to create real social impact. From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we’re here to help people live their best lives.
We're open to flexible hours, part-time, or job share arrangements – because great people thrive in different ways.
What you’ll do
As a Therapy Team Lead in our Allied Health team, you’ll:
- Support the team to meet service targets and KPIs, including contributing to budgets and keeping an eye on overall performance
-
Keep quality and safeguarding front of mind, helping the team stay on track with best practice and continuously improve how we work
- Oversee referrals, triage and client allocation, making sure the right people are getting the right support at the right time.
-
Oversee incident management end-to-end, ensuring clear documentation and meaningful, timely follow-up.
-
Stay connected to the work by managing a small caseload, delivering therapy and keeping your clinical skills sharp
What you’ll bring
-
A relevant Allied Health qualification (OT, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics or similar) with current registration
-
Solid experience working in an NDIS Allied Health setting, with a good feel for what best-practice, person-centred support looks like day-to-day
-
Confidence leading or supporting clinicians, whether that’s through supervision, coaching, or helping experienced practitioners grow in their roles
-
A natural ability to connect with people, communicate clearly, and support our positive team vibe.
-
The ability to work well with a mix of stakeholders clients, families, referrers, and colleagues and keep things running smoothly
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
