genU is looking for a Therapy Team Lead to provide leadership and support to our 

multidisciplinary Allied Health Team, with a strong focus on Occupational Therapy service delivery. This role drives a positive, high-performing team culture to ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care across NDIS and aged care services.

What you’ll do 

As Therapy Team Lead in our Allied Health team, you’ll: 

  • Participate in Quality and Safeguard activities, including continuous improvement planning to ensure all services meet organisational, legislative and regulatory compliance requirements. 

  • Contribute to budget preparation where appropriate, ensuring the Allied Health team meets agreed service targets, KPIs, and operational performance expectations. 

  • Ensure all clients have an appropriate and current funding source, and oversee referral pathways, triage processes, and equitable allocation of clients to clinicians. 

  • Ensure timely reporting and documentation of all incidents through the appropriate systems, support safe and effective incident management, and implement continuous improvement actions arising from incident reviews. 

  • Manage a small client caseload within your discipline, delivering direct therapy services and completing all associated administrative tasks to a high standard. 

 

 

What you’ll bring 

  • A relevant Allied Health tertiary qualification including an appropriate certificate of registration in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiologist, or Dietician or other allied health qualifications   

  • Experience working in within an Allied Health setting, with a strong understanding of contemporary, evidence-based practice. 

  • Experience supervising and supporting allied health clinicians in an Allied Health setting, contributing to structured supervision frameworks and professional development planning.  

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain a positive, professional, and supportive team environment 

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including referrers, funding bodies, community partners, and clinical colleagues. 

 

(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.) 

 

Bonus points for  

  • Experience delivering Allied Health services to older adults and/or people with disability, with a strong understanding of person-centred, goal-focused practice.
