About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you'll deliver engaging, professional training across genU’s diverse course offerings. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training
  • Coordinating student work placements
  • Contributing to assessment design and review
  • Conducting initial client training needs assessments
  • Ensuring a positive experience for students and stakeholders

 

About You

Success in this role requires more than just technical knowledge — it calls for a genuine connection with learners and the ability to support them through their unique challenges. You’ll play a key role in empowering jobseekers by fostering confidence, adapting your approach to meet diverse needs, and guiding them towards long-term success in the workforce.

 

  • Empathetic and motivating communicator – able to build trust, boost confidence, and inspire jobseekers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Adaptive and inclusive trainer – skilled in tailoring delivery to individual learning styles and overcoming barriers to engagement.
  • Supportive coach and role model – fosters resilience, accountability, and a growth mindset to help learners thrive beyond the classroom.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Industry qualifications and currency
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or successor)
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
