Hey you!
genU Training is looking for a bright and organised Training Coordinator to join our Adelaide office. If you enjoy coordinating training, supporting people, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the role for you.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with hybrid flexibility (1 day WFH) and a genuinely supportive national team. You’ll be the first point of contact for trainers, students and coordinators, helping courses across Community Services, Mental Health, Disability and Aged Care run smoothly from start to finish.
As part of not-for-profit organisation genU, we deliver job-ready and nationally recognised qualifications that produce real results for job seekers, career changers, and employers. We work with individuals, job service providers, and businesses to provide tailored training programs.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate accredited and non-accredited courses, from enrolment to completion
- Support trainers with scheduling, resources and student progress
- Conduct pre-training reviews, testing, and eligibility checks for prospective students
- Use systems such as VETtrak (SMS) and Canvas (LMS)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, trainers and community partners
While based in Adelaide, you’ll be part of a national team of coordinators who work closely together. You’ll have plenty of support, knowledge sharing, and guidance from experienced colleagues — you’ll never feel like you’re working alone.
What you’ll bring
- Organised, approachable and a natural team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with confidence managing competing priorities
- Able to support both trainers and students with professionalism and care
- Experience in RTO, VET or training administration is highly regarded, however strong customer service or coordination experience is also welcomed
- Brings warmth, energy and a proactive attitude that strengthens the team and supports student success
(You’ll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.)
Why you’ll love working at genU

You’ll also get

- Purchased leave options - the ability to buy additional annual leave to support work-life balance and flexibility.
- Discounts - savings at 450+ retailers including Coles, Woolworths & JB Hi-Fi
