Are you passionate about empowering volunteers and making a real impact in the community? genU is seeking two motivated and dedicated Volunteer Programs Coordinator to join our team in Launceston and Hobart Tasmania. Reporting to the Senior Volunteer Programs Engagement Coordinator, this role is key in delivering exceptional volunteer experiences, supporting recruitment, training, and development while ensuring compliance with genU’s frameworks and policies. Key Responsibilities

 

As a Volunteer Program Coordinator, you will but not limited to:

 

  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing support of volunteers in alignment with genU’s Volunteer Engagement Framework and compliance standards.
  • Match volunteers to suitable opportunities across genU, considering their skills, interests, and personal goals.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to promote, grow, and support the volunteer program within the allocated region.
  • Monitor and report on program performance, conduct regular reviews, and contribute to volunteer recognition and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will need the following or be willing to get:

 

  • Working with Vulnerable People Card with NDIS endorsement and child related activity
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate;
  • Reliable Car with Driver’s License and Comprehensive Insurance.

 

 

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience or tertiary qualification in human resources, allied health, social sciences, or similar.
  • Knowledge of Australia National Standards of Volunteer Involvement.
  • System experience in Carelink Plus, Better Impact or other Volunteer management systems.
