Sessional Trainer - RSA
Location: New South Wales
Pay Range: genU Training Enterprise Agreement – From $72.00 ph + Super
Not-for-Profit: Salary package up to $15,900 per annum each FBT year plus further meals and entertainment benefits up to $2,649 per annum

We are looking for a passionate and professional trainer to deliver face to face Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) short courses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the NSW hospitality industry, a talent for engaging diverse groups of learners and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of training and compliance as set by Liquor & Gaming NSW and ASQA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-impact, compliant training for the SITHFAB021 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol and SITHGAM022 - Provide Responsible Gambling Services units of competency.
- Conduct assessments in accordance with the principles of assessment and the rules of evidence.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Ensure all training and assessment activities are conducted in strict compliance with Liquor & Gaming NSW and ASQA regulatory requirements.
- Manage classroom administration, including maintaining accurate student records and reporting course outcomes in a timely manner.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to ensure they achieve competency.
- Maintain current knowledge of hospitality industry trends, legislation, and training practices.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor).
- Current approval from Liquor & Gaming NSW to deliver RSA and RCG training.
- Statement of Attainment for SITHFAB021 - Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol and SITHGAM022 - Provide Responsible Gambling Services.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of recent and relevant experience working in the Australian hospitality industry (e.g., pubs, registered clubs, hotels) with direct experience in the service of alcohol and management of gaming areas.
- Demonstrable vocational competency and the ability to maintain industry currency.
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one.
