Pay Rates:
- Registered Nurse Health Sessional Trainer – First Aid, Medication, Short Courses & Skill Sets: $72.85 per hour + super
- Aged Care Sessional Trainer – Aged Care Qualifications (Cert III & IV in Ageing Support): $65.80 per hour + super
Not-for-Profit Benefits:
- Salary packaging up to $15,900 p.a. each FBT year
- Meals & entertainment allowance up to $2,649 p.a.

We currently have two vacancies, we’re looking for a Registered Nurse Health Sessional Trainer and an Aged Care Sessional Trainer to join our team.
What You’ll Do
-
Deliver engaging training across classroom, workplace and online settings

Deliver training in Launceston or Hobart, or both as required

Assess learner competencies and provide constructive feedback

Complete reporting and compliance requirements to a high standard

Contribute positively to the genU Training team and student experience

1. Registered Nurse Health Sessional Trainer – First Aid, Medication, Short Courses & Skill Sets
Units Delivered:

HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

CHCSS00070 – Assist Clients with Medication Skill Set:
-
HLTAAP001 Recognise Healthy Body Systems

HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with Medication
-
Requirements:
-
Current AHPRA Registration (RN)
-
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Pay: $72.85/hr + super
2. Aged Care Sessional Trainer – Certificate III & IV in Ageing Support
Units Delivered:
-
CHC33021 – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
-
CHC43015 – Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Requirements:
-
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
-
Previous aged care experience
Pay: $65.80/hr + super
Essential Requirements (all roles)
-
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or equivalent (TAE40122, TAE40116, or TAE40110 with required upgrades)

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel between locations

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate (or willingness to obtain)
